Acumen-2017 concluded recently at DAIMSR

Acumen-2017, National Level Paper Presentation was ingurated with the hands of Mr. Pawan Sarda, Industrialist, Dr. Vinayak Deshpande, Dean, Commerce faculty, RTMNU, Nagpur in the presence of Dr. Sudhir Fulzele, Director, DAIMSR, Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar, Dean Academics.

Dr. Sudhir Fulzele gave his best wishes to the Team Acumen and the Participants presenting their papers. Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar, Dean Academics in his inaugural speech said that companies are nowadays offering the value goods at low cost and its becoming a trend. He also said that companies are mainly focusing on continuous customer engagement.

Mr. Pawan Sarda, Renowned Industrialist form Nagpur, Keynote speaker said looking acumen as a research initiative, that these days so much literature is available on various aspects of economy but less read. On implementation of various schemes in India, he said Plan is necessary which is made through a detail research then only execution will be proper and user will receive the appropriate benefits of the schemes. According to him Researcher has been failing due to the Irrelevance, Irregularity and Irrationalness. On this occasion he advised the participants,” You may start with Google & Wikipedia but do not end with it, search authentic sources.”

Dr. Vinayak Deshpande, congratulated DAIMSR for organizing the Acumen on the contemporary and the societal economic issues. He advised the participants, “Absolute un-biasness required for doing research“ Looking at economic changes like GST, rising petro prices, he said, “Challenge are more than opportunities in the industrial world.” Total 32 Research papers were received from across India contributed by 51 aurthors.

Total 12 wereshortlisted for presentation and 9 were actually presented. Dr. Rajesh Pande won the first prize for his papers titled, “A study on customer’s preference and attitude towards Patanjali products with special reference to Silvassa City.”, While Dr.Rajesh Shende first runner up and Ms. Bhavini Patel was the second runner up.
