Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Management Studies And Research, Deekshabhoomi (DAIMSR) recently conducted an event under the banner of NSS@DAIMSR.
The future of tomorrow i.e. students should be sensitized towards ‘Swachata Abhiyan’. For this purpose a wall outside Dr. Ambedkar College sports complex Deeshabhoomi, was choosen, which was very dirty as people used to dumb garbage in that area.
The students Participated in the event were from BBA/BCCA and MBA section. The students first cleaned the premises, and then they were assigned 8 blocks of wall, where they were supposed to sketch and paint on the theme of ‘Swachata, Sports & Fitness. On one the block of wall event plantation was done to make it green & clean.
Students were given 7-8 hours to complete this task. Even a competition was kept to motivate them for better work.
The winners of this competition were from Patliputra section of MBA, where they bagged 1st & 3rd prize, whereas 2nd prize was given to the team of BBA section.
At the end the Clean, Green area was hand over to Deekshabhoomi committee. Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni (Associate Director) declared the prizes & done plantations.
Prof. Anup Dhore successfully co-ordinated the event along with his NSS team.
