During the dire times when COVID 19 is wreaking havoc it is of grave importance that each one of us should try and contribute towards fighting this global pandemic. Rising to the occasion DAIMSR family decided to pave the way to contribute towards the society. 

Due to the worsening condition and lockdown many of the daily wage earners were facing severe problems while meeting their daily needs. NMC and NGO’s are trying with their full capacity to meet their needs. Faculties, Students and College (Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research) decided to join the fight and help those in need. Faculties and students contributed via digital payment systems to raise the funds which was utilized to provide 500 hygiene kits to different camps where in they were given to these stationed daily wage workers.

Tea, biscuits were provided to the daily wage workers stationed at Panchpaoli camp where in DAIMSR decided to provide the supplements for 7 days. The efforts were coordinated by Dr. Monika Jain with the help of two students Amir Khan and Pallavi Das who coordinated with authorities for smooth distribution of these necessary items.

Dr. Sudhir Fulzele (Director), Dr. N. M. Kulkarni (Associate Director) Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research appreciated students and faculties alike for their efforts and promised to extend the helping hand further if the need arises. They also congratulated Dr. Monika Jain for coordinating the efforts.
