Nagpur: The event was organized in the lavish Hotel Radisson Blu, Wardha Road. The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors & juniors alike from  dance numbers that made the event even more charming. The welcome party started with introductory session followed by games. Then it was tune for Mr. Fresher & Miss. Fresher talent and question answers round.

Dr. Sudhir Fulzele (Director, DAIMSR) also welcome the freshers by his speech in order to boost energy of the students. Director Sir also felicitated the winners of Freshers 2k17. The best male dress was Ujjawal Dupare, And the best dress female was Jagruti Jadhav. The best group dance was awarded to Patliputra Section. The most prestigious award of the day that is Mr. Fresher was awarded to Rohit Shedge and Miss. Fresher was awarded to Rutuja Budhe.

The senior students Kranti Aglave, Yogiraj Patil, Shubham Tharkar, Arjun Shahu, Amit Warkar, Ashwini Vaidya, Zigna Patel, Rini Agrawal, Ridham Agrawal, Priyanka Giradakar and Ravi Ramteke worked hard to make the event successful.
